Wonderful
Excellent, fast, friendly service. Sent me a personal message with a photo before pick-up to let me know where their booth was located. Their service was so good, i’d go to an event just to pick up tickets from them. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Interpol are an American post-punk revival band formed in New York City in 1997, fronted by Paul Banks with Daniel Kessler on guitar and Sam Fogarino on drums. Emerging from the city’s late-90s downtown scene, they first attracted attention through early singles and word-of-mouth buzz at small clubs, where their stark, cinematic sound and enigmatic stage presence quickly set them apart. Their real breakthrough came with the release of their debut album Turn On the Bright Lights in 2002.
Turn On the Bright Lights was widely acclaimed for its moody atmospherics, driving basslines, shimmering guitar interplay and introspective, often existential lyricism. Its shadowy, nocturnal sound captured the restless energy of New York in the early 2000s and helped redefine what alternative rock could be at the time. The record soon became a cornerstone of the post-punk revival and a touchstone for a generation of bands seeking to blend gothic drama with indie-rock restraint, pairing emotional intensity with meticulous, tightly structured songwriting.
They followed this success with Antics in 2004, an album that refined and sharpened their sound while pushing it in a more immediate and melodic direction. Singles such as Slow Hands, Evil and C’mere brought Interpol to a wider international audience, showcasing their ability to balance catchy hooks with a brooding, sophisticated atmosphere. Antics confirmed their status as one of the defining guitar bands of the decade, capable of filling larger venues without losing the cool precision and tension that had drawn listeners in from the beginning.
Subsequent releases, including Our Love to Admire (2007), the self-titled Interpol (2010), El Pintor (2014) and Marauder (2018), expanded their sonic palette while retaining the core elements that make them distinctive. Across these albums, they experimented with richer arrangements, denser production and more varied tempos, but their signature traits remained intact: interlocking guitar lines, taut rhythms, deep, resonant vocals and an undercurrent of emotional unease. This evolution allowed them to grow beyond the confines of the early-2000s scene they helped define, while still feeling unmistakably like Interpol.
Interpol’s influence stretches far beyond their own discography. Alongside a handful of contemporaries, they helped shape and popularize the post-punk revival, inspiring bands across indie rock, alternative and even pop-leaning genres to explore darker tones, minimalist arrangements and literate, ambiguous lyrics. Many later artists have cited Turn On the Bright Lights and Antics as formative records that showed how guitar music could be both stylish and emotionally raw, both icy and intensely human.
On stage, Interpol are known for their tight musicianship and focused, hypnotic performances. Without relying on excessive theatrics, they create an atmosphere that feels both intimate and grand, translating the tension and drama of their studio recordings into powerful live moments. Across multiple world tours and numerous festival headline appearances, Interpol have maintained a reputation for artistic integrity, consistency and an enduring appeal that continues to resonate with new listeners as well as long-time fans.
Interpol join forces with Bloc Party for a co-headline tour that brings together two pillars of indie and post-punk-infused rock for a series of shows across Europe and the UK. Audiences can expect a powerful blend of atmospherically rich Interpol classics, from Obstacle 1 and Slow Hands to Evil, alongside Bloc Party’s jangly, rhythm-driven catalogue. The tour highlights both bands’ ongoing relevance and celebrates their storied contributions to alternative music over more than two decades.
