Buyer Terms of Use
Here’s what we do at Fanatix:
We (“GT Ticketing A.G.”, “Fanatix”, “Us”) operate an online marketplace for buyers and sellers, to make tickets available to anyone providing quality customer service. Since supply and demand are what drive the prices, today the prices can be low and tomorrow they may be higher—it can always change.
When purchasing a ticket on our website (“Website”), you are purchasing a ticket or tickets directly from individuals or companies selling these tickets on the Website (the “Sellers”).
GT Ticketing A.G. operates solely as a marketplace and as a payment collection intermediary acting on behalf of Sellers. We are not a party to the ticket sales transaction between Buyers and Sellers. Our role is limited to collecting payments on behalf of the Seller. We do not verify the validity of the payment method, validate Buyer information or identity, or confirm the availability or authenticity of tickets. These responsibilities lie solely with the Seller.
Payments may be made through various third-party platforms (e.g., credit card, PayPal, bank transfer). When we receive an offer to purchase a ticket, we obtain authorization from your chosen payment method for the ticket price, applicable fees, and taxes. This authorization remains until the sale is confirmed or cancelled. Payment is held on behalf of the Seller until the Seller confirms the sale.
GT Ticketing A.G. does not provide any payment processing services beyond this limited role as a money collector and does not validate payment, Buyer data, or credit card details. The sale is solely concluded between Buyer and Seller. All liability regarding the ticket’s validity and delivery remains with the Seller.
Tax Disclaimer
All tickets sold on this Website are listed by independent Sellers. GT Ticketing A.G. does not act as the Seller of the ticket and is not responsible for the collection, reporting, or remittance of any applicable taxes related to your purchase. Any applicable taxes are included in the price displayed and are the sole responsibility of the Seller.
Ticket prices on our site are determined solely by the Sellers. Due to supply and demand, tickets may be sold higher than face value, especially for events that are high in demand and/or for which there are no tickets available on the primary market.
Purchase Terms
When you purchase a ticket on the Website, you agree to the following terms:
A binding contract (“Buyer Agreement”) is formed directly between you (the Buyer) and the Seller when the Seller confirms the sale. All obligations concerning ticket delivery, timing, and fulfillment lie solely with the Seller.
Once an order is placed through the Website, we will send you a confirmation email indicating that the order has been received. Please note that this confirmation does not indicate that the tickets are available or that the sale has been finalized. The final sale confirmation occurs only when the Seller accepts the order and undertakes delivery.
Please never assume your order is cancelled simply because you haven’t received an email. Check your junk folder if you cannot locate our email after a few hours. If you’re unsure about your order status, please contact us. Online orders placed over the weekend or after business hours may not be processed until the next business day.
The following terms and conditions, along with any other policies or guidelines posted on this site, govern your use of this site and the services provided by GT Ticketing A.G. By visiting or using our Website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Please note that your purchase of tickets is governed by a separate agreement between you and the Seller. GT Ticketing A.G. is not a party to that agreement. The rights and obligations related to the ticket sale, including delivery, refunds, cancellations, or exchanges, are solely between you and the Seller. We provide the technical platform and payment collection services only, and have no role or responsibility in the actual supply of tickets.
Using a credit card?
We accept most major credit cards. Your billing address will be verified with your credit card company, so please be certain to use the exact address where your statements are sent — otherwise your order may get rejected. Please be aware that purchasing by credit card does not entitle you to cancel your order or grant you any variances from our terms and conditions. Any attempt to defraud us will be responded to with legal action to recover all losses and legal fees. If you have an issue regarding your order, please contact our customer service first — we’re here to assist you.
All purchases are final
Refunds are only possible when an event is cancelled and not postponed or rescheduled. If you are based in a country in which local laws grant you a right to a refund for online purchases, you expressly acknowledge and agree that Swiss law applies to your purchase on our website, and that the law of your country of origin does not apply to this transaction.
Under the rare circumstances in which an event is cancelled or government restrictions on stadium capacities are implemented, we will refund you the ticket purchase price via a credit to your original payment method. The service fee (which covers variable processing and administrative expenses) will be refunded to you in the form of a voucher for the full value of the service fee, valid for two years.
If an event has been cancelled and not rescheduled, you will be contacted by our customer service to arrange your refund.
If you do not receive your tickets in time for a match (for an event that is not cancelled), a full refund will be issued.
If you would like to sell the tickets you purchased, contact us. We will attempt to sell the tickets for you on consignment — meaning that if we can resell them, you will receive your money back. If we cannot, we will return the tickets to you.
If your tickets were originally purchased on our website, we will attempt to resell them and recover as much of the cost as possible, up to the amount you paid. Since consignment tickets remain your property, we require your guidance on pricing. If the tickets don’t sell, you must inform us when you want them returned.
Currency & pricing
To make it easier for fans to buy from Sellers on our site, we provide currency conversion estimates. These are regularly updated so the price you see is very close to what your bank will charge — but not guaranteed. For a real-time estimate before purchase, contact our customer service.
All prices quoted are inclusive of applicable Swiss VAT when relevant. In the event of a VAT rate change between booking and the event date, the client will be liable to pay the difference prior to ticket issuance.
Ticket prices are set by Sellers and may change at any time without notice. All prices are guaranteed at the time of payment approval.
Account suspension
If your account is used for misconduct or to endanger the integrity of our marketplace, we may suspend it. This decision will be made in accordance with the Digital Services Act and can be appealed for review by our compliance team.
Your order
You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately after placing your order. Please don’t assume the order is cancelled just because you haven’t received the email — check your junk folder first. Still unsure? Contact us. Orders placed over the weekend or after hours may be processed the next business day.
Seating charts and categories are for reference only and do not guarantee exact seats. We work with many Sellers, and while we aim for accuracy, we can’t be responsible for typographical errors. If an error is found, we’ll notify you and offer alternatives or the option to cancel.
Tickets are listed as “unrestricted view” or “restricted view.” Note that in older venues, objects may partially obstruct your view. “Unrestricted” means there is no major obstruction that would normally warrant a lower face value.
We and the Seller reserve the right to upgrade your seat(s) if needed. Seats will never be downgraded without your consent or an agreed discount. Seat hierarchy is as follows:
Shortside Upper Tier < Shortside Lower Tier < Longside Upper Tier < Longside Lower Tier < VIP/Hospitality
(or: Category 4 < 3 < 2 < 1 < VIP/Hospitality)
Dates & times
Event dates and times may change — often. It is your responsibility to check with the venue or local listings. When you buy a ticket, it’s valid for the event regardless of its rescheduled time.
We are not responsible for such changes and cannot offer refunds due to rescheduling. Please book flexible travel when attending events.
Delivery
Delivery depends on the ticket format:
PDF tickets are typically sent 24–48 hours before the event
Mobile tickets are transferred 24–48 hours prior and may require an app
Paper tickets are delivered via courier or may require a local meet-up
In all cases, we provide clear instructions by email. Occasionally, delivery occurs on the day of the event — you’ll be informed if that happens.
For paper tickets, deliveries may be to a hotel or local address close to the event. Please make sure reception/concierge staff are aware. You authorize anyone at the delivery address to accept the package on your behalf.

If tickets are undeliverable or returned, and you are unresponsive, the Seller may place them back for resale and attempt to recover value for you. You set the resale price, or the Seller will act reasonably if no contact is made.
Lost or stolen tickets
Keep your tickets safe and out of heat/sunlight. Damaged, lost, or stolen tickets cannot be replaced.
Our responsibility for loss or damage
We do not exclude liability where unlawful — including death, injury, or fraud. But we are not responsible for:
loss of profits or revenue
business interruptions
lost opportunities, goodwill, or reputation
indirect or consequential damage
This includes anything arising from use of our website, ticket orders, or event changes/cancellations.
Postponed events
If an event is postponed, your tickets remain valid. New tickets are not needed. If you can’t attend the new date, we can try to sell your tickets on consignment.

Site disclaimer
Fanatix is a private secondary ticketing marketplace, operated by GT Ticketing A.G., a Swiss company based in Zug. We are not affiliated with Ticketmaster, artists, sports teams, venues, or official box offices.
The Buyer Agreement
This Buyer Agreement, together with the services described on your Fanatix invoice, forms the full agreement between you and GT Ticketing A.G. It supersedes all prior agreements, whether written or oral. It may only be amended in writing by GT Ticketing A.G.
Any terms you propose that conflict with this Buyer Agreement are explicitly rejected.
