Harry Styles first broke through globally as a member of the hugely successful boy band One Direction, formed on The X Factor in 2010. When the group went on hiatus in 2016, he stepped into a solo career that mixed contemporary pop with rock, folk and retro influences. His self-titled debut album (2017) showed off his artistic range and marked a confident move away from his boy-band roots, setting the stage for his solo stardom.

Born in England, Styles grew up surrounded by music and performance. Early exposure to a mix of genres, from classic rock to folk to pop, helped shape his eclectic solo sound. After One Direction became one of the world’s best-selling acts, he used that platform to build a solo identity rooted in nostalgia, personal expression and a fearless blend of styles.

Styles has earned both commercial success and critical respect as a solo artist. His second album, Fine Line (2019), produced global hits like “Watermelon Sugar” and drew widespread praise. Harry’s House (2022) followed, winning Grammys including Album of the Year and firmly cementing his status as a major creative force.

In January 2026, Styles announced his fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., due for release on 6 March 2026. Executive produced by longtime collaborator Kid Harpoon, the 12-track record follows a spell of experimentation and fan teasing, from cryptic promos to an early single called “Aperture”. The title, with its playful punctuation and vivid imagery, hints at a sound that leans into disco and dance while staying grounded in Styles’ sharp pop instincts.

Harry Styles has left a clear mark on 21st-century pop culture. His solo work stretches across genres, blending classic rock, funk, pop and singer-songwriter influences. He’s known for bold fashion, emotionally open lyrics and theatrical live shows, inspiring a new generation of pop artists in sound, style and stagecraft.

Styles has toured widely as a solo artist, most notably with Live On Tour (2017–2018) and Love On Tour (2021–2023). These runs mixed arena and stadium shows with bold staging, choreography and a high-energy live band. Together, they helped seal his reputation as a crowd-pleasing performer with genuine cross-generational appeal.

Harry Styles’ Together, Together tour is his first major live run in support of his fourth studio album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. The tour spans seven cities across Europe, South America, North America and Oceania, featuring an unprecedented 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden in New York alongside multi-night residencies in Amsterdam and London, plus shows in São Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne and Sydney.
