Was a bit dubious buying F1 tickets…

Bought a 4 day grandstand seat to the australian grand prix and was a bit offput by the fact that I wouldn't recieve my tickets til the week of, but lo and behold, 3 days before the event the tickets were transferred to me without issue. Happy with the process overall.

History of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix

The Miami Grand Prix has been part of the Formula One World Championship since 2022. It’s a part temporary, part permanent circuit that adapts the grounds of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins – the Hard Rock Stadium. Plans for a Miami Grand Prix began in 2018, but it wasn’t until 2021 that the venue was confirmed. The Miami International Autodrome, as it’s officially named, has a ten-year contract with Formula One. Miami F1 tickets sell out, so secure yours today with Fanatix. Miami held a Sprint Race both in 2024 and 2025, and will hold another in 2026.

Miami joins Las Vegas and Austin as the third Grand Prix in the US and the fourth in North America (Montreal). It makes the US only the second country on the calendar to have multiple Grand Prix events, with Italy being the first (Imola & Monza). Tickets for all of these 2026 Grand Prix are available through Fanatix.

Lando Norris recovered from an early error to pass Verstappen for second, while George Russell utilized a Virtual Safety Car period to jump the Red Bull for the final podium spot. FAQs about Miami F1 Tickets

Where is the Miami F1 circuit located?

The race is held at the Miami International Autodrome, a purpose-built temporary circuit constructed around the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. It is located about 15 miles north of Downtown Miami and 20 miles south of Fort Lauderdale.

What is a Campus Pass?

The Campus Pass is Miami’s version of a General Admission ticket. It does not include a reserved seat but grants you access to the entire grounds, including the F1 Fan Zone, the Miami Marina area, and various elevated viewing platforms (such as the Heineken Highline) located around the track. It is the best option for fans who want to soak up the festival atmosphere and move between different vantage points.

How do I get to the track and where can I park?

Parking at Hard Rock Stadium is extremely limited and must be purchased in advance; you cannot pay for parking on-site upon arrival. Many fans choose to use the “Park & Ride” shuttle service from designated remote lots or take the Brightline train to Aventura Station, where complimentary shuttles run to the circuit. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft have a dedicated drop-off/pick-up zone, but wait times after the race can be significant.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Outside food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. However, you are allowed to bring one factory-sealed plastic water bottle (20 oz / 590ml or less) or an empty reusable plastic/silicone water bottle (32 oz or less) to use at the free water refill stations located throughout the campus. Metal or glass bottles are strictly prohibited.

What is the bag policy for the Miami Grand Prix?

The circuit enforces a strict clear bag policy similar to NFL stadiums. You may bring one clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Small non-clear “clutch” purses or fanny packs are allowed only if they are smaller than 4.5″ x 6.5″. All bags are subject to search upon entry.

Are the grandstands shaded?

Miami is famous for its heat and humidity. While most grandstands are open to the sun, some premium sections like the Marina Grandstand (top rows) and the Start/Finish Grandstand offer partial shade at certain times of the day. If you are in an uncovered stand, we highly recommend bringing a hat, high-SPF sunscreen (lotion only, no aerosol sprays), and a portable neck fan.

Is the Miami race a Sprint weekend?

Yes, the Miami Grand Prix typically features the F1 Sprint format. This means your 3-day ticket provides maximum value with competitive sessions every day: Sprint Qualifying on Friday, the F1 Sprint Race and Grand Prix Qualifying on Saturday, and the main Grand Prix on Sunday.

Can I walk the track after the race?

Miami occasionally offers a track invasion, but access is often restricted to specific ticket holders (such as those in the Paddock Club or certain premium clubs). Most fans will be able to enjoy the post-race concerts and the podium ceremony from the large screens and Fan Zones throughout the campus.
