Was a bit dubious buying F1 tickets…
Bought a 4 day grandstand seat to the australian grand prix and was a bit offput by the fact that I wouldn't recieve my tickets til the week of, but lo and behold, 3 days before the event the tickets were transferred to me without issue. Happy with the process overall.

Wolf Alice is a London-based band that truly made waves with their second album, Visions of a Life (2017). While their debut album, My Love Is Cool (2015), garnered significant acclaim and a Mercury Prize nomination, it was Visions of a Life that firmly established them as a distinctive force in the music industry. This album masterfully blends genres such as grunge, punk rock, shoegaze, and folk, all brought to life by Ellie Rowsell’s powerful and emotive vocals, complemented by the band’s innovative and layered songwriting.
Their music showcases a dynamic and eclectic style, with tracks that resonate as contemporary rock anthems. A standout from their debut, “Bros,” is a heartfelt celebration of platonic friendship and loyalty, while “Giant Peach” embodies that raw, untamed grunge energy that fans adore. From Visions of a Life, songs like the ethereal “Don’t Delete the Kisses” have emerged as favourites, particularly celebrated for their catchy choruses and engaging spoken-word segments that draw listeners into their emotional landscape. More recently, their critically acclaimed album Blue Weekend has produced compelling hits like “The Last Man on Earth,” characterised by its introspective lyrics and haunting melody, and the gritty, punchy track “Smile,” which showcases their growth and versatility as artists.
Wolf Alice is also renowned for their incredible live performances, having successfully transitioned from playing intimate venues to headlining large arenas and major festivals around the globe. Their extensive tours, particularly for My Love Is Cool and Visions of a Life, have helped them cultivate a dedicated and passionate fan base. They have graced the stages of prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury and Lollapalooza, and their live shows are celebrated for their electrifying energy and unpredictability—effortlessly weaving together moments of loud rock anthems with soothing, ethereal ballads.
In 2018, they achieved a significant milestone when they won the Mercury Prize for Visions of a Life, an accolade recognised as one of the highest honours in British music. The prize highlighted the album’s vibrant fusion of pop, grunge, and indie rock, praised for its masterful balance of epic soundscapes and intimate lyrical moments. This win solidified Wolf Alice’s position as one of the most exciting and innovative bands within the UK music scene, leaving listeners eager for their next creative endeavours.
Wolf Alice’s highly anticipated 2025 arena tour, which follows the release of their fourth studio album, The Clearing, is poised to be their most ambitious live show yet. Fans can expect a massive and theatrical performance that showcases the band at the peak of their powers. The setlist will likely feature a commanding blend of new tracks from the album, such as the single “Bloom Baby Bloom,” alongside their greatest hits and fan favourites from their Mercury Prize-winning catalogue. With Ellie Rowsell’s versatile vocals at the forefront and the band’s renowned high-energy stage presence, the shows will be a career-spanning celebration of their unique sound, promising a powerful and unforgettable experience.
