Wonderful

Excellent, fast, friendly service. Sent me a personal message with a photo before pick-up to let me know where their booth was located. Their service was so good, i’d go to an event just to pick up tickets from them. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

History of the MotoGP Valencian Grand Prix

The Valencian Community Motorcycle Grand Prix has been part of the MotoGP World Championship since 1999. It’s held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Cheste, Valencia, named after the Spanish two-time Grand Prix champion, who died a year before the first race was held. The track has consistently been one of the final rounds, if not the very last, on the MotoGP calendar, meaning Valencia has seen the crowning of multiple MotoGP champions, including Marc Márquez, Nicky Hayden, Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Lorenzo.

When the Valencian Grand Prix joined the Grand Prix calendar in 1999, it became the third Spanish round on the 16-round calendar, alongside Jerez and Catalunya. In modern MotoGP, a fourth Spanish round (Aragón) has joined the calendar, making Spain the most visited country each racing year.

A race has been held in Valencia ever since 1999, with 2024 being an exception. The 2024 Spanish floods in late October were one of the deadliest natural disasters in Spanish history and devastated the Valencian area. A second Catalonian round was held in its place and saw the crowning of the 2024 MotoGP world champion, Jorge Martín.

Valencia’s anti-clockwise layout makes for a unique experience for fans. The grandstands wrap around the circuit, which is designed in a bowl-like valley, meaning almost the entire circuit is viewable from the grandstands. Naturally, it’s a sell-out event each year, and the Valencian Grand Prix has been the venue to crown five of the last 10 MotoGP world champions.
