Wonderful

Excellent, fast, friendly service. Sent me a personal message with a photo before pick-up to let me know where their booth was located. Their service was so good, i’d go to an event just to pick up tickets from them. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

History of the MotoGP Austrian Grand Prix

The Red Bull Ring is one of the most recognisable venues on the MotoGP world championship calendar, with its roots in the historic Österreichring that first opened in 1969 in the hills above Spielberg. Originally a fast, flowing circuit that became a favourite of Formula 1 and WorldSBK, the track was shortened and modernised in the mid-1990s as the A1-Ring before being bought and completely redeveloped by Red Bull, reopening in 2011 as the Red Bull Ring. MotoGP returned to Austria in 2016, and the compact, undulating layout has since become a permanent stop on the calendar, known for heavy braking zones, long acceleration bursts and close, slipstream-dependent racing, with the Austrian Grand Prix now confirmed to remain at the venue until at least 2030.
Set in a natural bowl in the Styrian mountains near the town of Spielberg, the Red Bull Ring sits around an hour from Graz and within driving distance of Vienna, drawing fans from across Austria and Central Europe. The surrounding hillsides and grandstands offer panoramic views of much of the lap, while its status as the home race for KTM and a key event for Red Bull helps create one of the most colourful and atmospheric race weekends of the European MotoGP season.

2025 Austrian Grand Prix Summary

Marco Bezzecchi began the Austrian Grand Prix from pole position and held the lead in the early laps, with Marc Márquez quickly moving into 2nd and Fermín Aldeguer moving up into 3rd. Bezzecchi and Márquez pulled clear of the pack, trading fastest laps until the midway stage, with Márquez then using the long uphill accelerations and heavy braking zones to reel Bezzecchi in before finally making his move for the lead.
Marc Márquez controlled the race from there to claim his first premier class victory at the Red Bull Ring and another important boost for his 2025 title campaign. Aldeguer took a then career-best 2nd place, while Bezzecchi completed the podium in 3rd after converting pole and fastest lap into a strong result for Aprilia. Pedro Acosta finished 4th ahead of Enea Bastianini, with Francesco Bagnaia only 8th at the flag, losing further ground in the championship fight.
