Wonderful

Excellent, fast, friendly service. Sent me a personal message with a photo before pick-up to let me know where their booth was located. Their service was so good, i’d go to an event just to pick up tickets from them. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

History of the MotoGP San Marino Grand Prix

The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is a purpose-built Italian venue that has grown into a modern staple of the MotoGP calendar. Designed at the end of the 1960s and opened in 1972, Misano first hosted a motorcycle Grand Prix in 1980 and became a regular home of the Italian and San Marino Grand Prix’s through the 1980s and early 1990s. After a series of major upgrades, including an extension of the layout in 1993 and a complete rebuild in 2006 that reversed the direction of racing to clockwise and brought the facilities up to full FIM Grand Prix standards, MotoGP returned in 2007 with the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix and has never left. In 2012 the circuit was renamed in honour of local hero Marco Simoncelli, and its place on the calendar is now secured until at least 2031.
Located just inland from the Adriatic coast near Misano Adriatico and the resort city of Rimini, the circuit sits in the heart of Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, a traditional stronghold of motorcycle racing. Its proximity to San Marino, as well as easy access from major hubs such as Bologna and Ancona, draws passionate Ducati and Aprilia supporters and international MotoGP fans alike, all keen to experience the unique atmosphere of the San Marino Grand Prix on the Riviera di Rimini.

2025 San Marino Grand Prix Summary

Marco Bezzecchi began the San Marino Grand Prix from pole position, leading the field through the opening laps ahead of Álex Márquez and Fabio Quartararo, with Marc Márquez starting from fourth on the grid. As the race settled, Bezzecchi and Marc Márquez broke away from the rest, trading fastest laps while Álex Márquez gradually lost touch in third. On lap 12, Bezzecchi ran slightly wide at Turn 8, allowing Marc Márquez to dive through into the lead, with the Aprilia rider locking onto the rear of the Ducati for the remainder of the race.
Marc Márquez held on to take victory at Misano, his 11th Grand Prix win of the 2025 season and another important step towards the championship. Bezzecchi finished just over half a second behind in 2nd, backing up his Sprint win on Saturday and demonstrating Aprilia’s strength at their home round. Álex Márquez completed the podium in 3rd, while Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio rounded out the top five. Francesco Bagnaia’s difficult year continued with a crash and retirement, on a day when Ducati still celebrated a home win in front of a packed Misano crowd.
