Liverpool are on the verge of officially completing their second signing of the summer after Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas arrived at Melwood to complete a medical ahead of a £7m switch.
The Spaniard netted 12 goals in 34 appearances in La Liga last term, as Celta avoided relegation on the final day of the campaign.
His arrival at Anfield is likely to increase speculation about Luis Suarez’s future; the wantaway Uruguayan is a reported target for Real Madrid.
