Assou-Ekotto hints at sleepless night following GTA V release.
QPR loanee Benoit Assou-Ekotto has hinted that he spent most of the night playing the recently released GTA V – ahead of a Championship clash with Brighton this evening.

The Cameroonian’s tweet is ambiguous but suggests he got just one hour sleep (or has been up since 1am), despite being in line for his Hoops debut at Loftus Road tonight.
The news will not please R’s boss Harry Redknapp and the defender’s behaviour arguably sheds some light on why Spurs’ head-coach Andre Villas-Boas farmed out Assou-Ekotto, despite being short of options at left back.
In fairness to Assou-Ekotto, he is not the only man likely to endure sleepless nights at the hands of the super addictive video game!
