Zlatan Ibrahimovic has gone and done it again…
The PSG striker, currently in the running for the Ballon D’or award, has shocked football fans with a pretty disrespectful comment on Liverpool’s in form hitman Daniel Sturridge.
Asked which Premier League strike duo he preferred – Manchester United’s Van Persie and Rooney combo, or Liverpool’s Suarez and Sturridge partnership, dubbed the ‘SAS’, Ibrahimovic replied:
“Who is Sturridge?”
While the quotes are circling Twitter, it’s not confirmed whether Ibrahimovich actually said it or not.
While the Swede is known for his outspoken, and often arrogant comments, it seems relatively implausible that he would have never heard of Sturridge, currently the Premier League’s top scorer!
With Zlatan though, you never know…
