Liverpool fail in bid to sign long-term Tottenham target Leandro Damiao…
Liverpool have have had a €20m bid for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao turned down, according to respected Italian sports journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
The Reds still have Luis Suarez suspended, and only have Fabio Borini as backup to the on-form Daniel Sturridge.
With Damiao based in Brazil though, Liverpool would do extremely to tie up a transfer before the window closes in less than 48 hours time.
Damiao has 83 goals in 149 games for his Brazilian side, and is ready for a big money move to Europe.
