According to journalist Roy Henderson, Liverpool have offered their young defender Stephen Sama as part of the deal to bring excellent Croatian defender Dejan Lovren to Anfield.
21-year-old Sama has not made a first-team appearance for the Reds, but has impressed in the Under-21 side.
Lovren only moved to the Saints last summer but enjoyed an excellent debut Premier League season – earning him the attention of the Merseyside giants.
News breaking that Southampton are brokering a player-plus-cash deal with LFC involving Dejan Lovren and Stephen Sama.
