The Mexican picked the ball up in the Spanish side’s half before beating three Lyon players and chipping the ball into the back of the net.
Vela spent six years with the Gunners but never got a good run in the side and eventually joined Socieded in the summer of 2012 after five different loan stints away from the Emirates Stadium.
