Was a bit dubious buying F1 tickets…
Bought a 4 day grandstand seat to the australian grand prix and was a bit offput by the fact that I wouldn't recieve my tickets til the week of, but lo and behold, 3 days before the event the tickets were transferred to me without issue. Happy with the process overall.

Few figures have had as much influence on modern dance music as Pete Tong. Rising through the UK club scene in the late 1980s, he went on to become one of the most recognisable and trusted voices in electronic music. His long-running work on BBC Radio 1, particularly through the Essential Selection, introduced wider audiences to underground house, techno and dance music at a time when those genres were still finding their place in the mainstream.
Over a career spanning more than three decades, Tong has played a central role in taking club culture to a global audience. He helped connect Ibiza’s influential nightlife scene with listeners and fans around the world, while consistently supporting new artists and championing emerging sounds. In more recent years, he has expanded his reach beyond the DJ booth through Ibiza Classics, a project that brings some of dance music’s most iconic tracks to life through rich, full-scale orchestral arrangements.
First launched in 2015 as part of BBC Radio 1’s Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, Ibiza Classics quickly grew into one of the most acclaimed live electronic music shows in the world. Blending Tong’s musical curation with the work of conductor Jules Buckley and The Essential Orchestra, the production gives well-known club anthems a new dimension. The result is a live show that feels both nostalgic and fresh, turning dancefloor favourites into expansive, cinematic performances.
After a series of sold-out performances and as the show marks its 10th anniversary, Ibiza Classics will return in December 2026 for a major UK arena tour. The seven-date run will visit Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London, before finishing with two nights at The O2. It is set to be one of the biggest live dance events on the 2026 calendar, giving fans the chance to experience the scale and energy of the production in some of the country’s largest venues.
For audiences, part of the appeal of Ibiza Classics lies in the way it brings together different eras and styles of live performance. Long-time dance fans can hear tracks that defined nights out and festival moments in a completely new setting, while newer listeners are introduced to the history and emotion behind some of the genre’s biggest songs. That mix of nostalgia, musicianship and large-scale production has helped make the show far more than a standard concert experience.
Expect a euphoric, nostalgia-fuelled spectacle that blends the energy of a nightclub with the scale of a live orchestra. Backed by The Essential Orchestra, Pete Tong brings classic Ibiza anthems to life with soaring strings, live vocals, and immersive production. From hands-in-the-air dance moments to spine-tingling orchestral breakdowns, the show is designed to feel both cinematic and communal; a celebration of dance music that hits just as hard emotionally as it does on the dancefloor.
