Was a bit dubious buying F1 tickets…
Bought a 4 day grandstand seat to the australian grand prix and was a bit offput by the fact that I wouldn't recieve my tickets til the week of, but lo and behold, 3 days before the event the tickets were transferred to me without issue. Happy with the process overall.

The Miami Open, officially known as the Miami Open presented by Itaú, is one of the most prestigious and glamorous tournaments on the ATP and WTA tours. Founded by former player Butch Buchholz, the tournament was first held in 1985 and has grown into one of the premier events in professional tennis after the Grand Slam tournaments — earning a reputation as the sport’s unofficial “Fifth Major.” Played on outdoor hard courts at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, it is part of the ATP 1000 and WTA 1000 series , attracting the very best men’s and women’s players in the world each spring.
The Miami Open forms the second half of one of tennis’s most coveted achievements — the “Sunshine Double,” won by a player who claims both the Indian Wells Open and the Miami Open in the same year. Only the sport’s most dominant players have managed to complete the feat. Most recently, Jannik Sinner won both titles in 2026, becoming the first man since Roger Federer in 2017 to complete the Sunshine Double — and the first player ever to do so without dropping a single set across both events. On the women’s side, Steffi Graf was the first to achieve the Sunshine Double, accomplishing it in both 1994 and 1996.
Serena Williams is the undisputed queen of the Miami Open, with eight titles — more than any other player in the tournament’s history. Her dominance spanned 13 seasons, from 2002 to 2015, and represents one of the most remarkable runs of consistency at a single tournament in the sport’s history. On the men’s side, Novak Djokovic and Andre Agassi share the record with six titles apiece, while Roger Federer claimed four. The most recent men’s champion is Jannik Sinner, who defeated Jiri Lehecka in the 2026 final , while Aryna Sabalenka claimed the 2025 women’s title, defeating Jessica Pegula in the final.
The Miami Open offers a unique and vibrant atmosphere that sets it apart from any other tournament on the calendar. The venue features a 13,800-seat centre court built on the NFL stadium’s football field, with additional courts constructed over the surrounding parking lots , creating a tennis campus unlike anywhere else in the world. Beyond the on-court action, Miami’s energy, culture, music, and sunshine make the tournament as much a celebration as a competition — drawing not just tennis fans but a global audience of sport and entertainment lovers to South Florida each spring.
The Miami Open is held annually in late March and early April at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, featuring the full fields of both the ATP and WTA tours competing across two weeks of world-class hard-court tennis. Get your Miami Open tickets from Fanatix and experience the glamour and intensity of one of the sport’s greatest events under the Florida sun.
