The Belgian has not got off lightly for the midfielder’s performance.
Manchester United have had a poor start to the Premier League, but are doing well in the Champions League with a 0-1 half-time victory at Shakhtar Donetsk.
However, Marouane Fellaini has been heavily criticised on Twitter as the Belgium international returns to the starting XI after being on the bench at the weekend.
Fellaini set up Danny Welbeck for the only goal of the game, but the midfielder is said to be too slow and lacking enough passing variety.
I’d prefer Jones to Fellaini in DM any day. D lanky man cnt win any tackle and seems to be giving the ball away too often… #disappointed

Fellaini looks lost in a united jersey, miles off the pace for top European games. Never a united player for me. I thought he’d improve us
