The Script have announced a major UK arena tour for autumn 2026, officially titled the Man In The Arena Tour.
The newly announced run arrives alongside news of the band’s upcoming album The User’s Guide to Being Human, with the Irish pop-rock trio set to return to arenas across the UK this November.
UK Tour Dates
The newly announced UK arena dates include:
November 2026
5 – Utilita Arena, Newcastle
7 – Utilita Arena, Birmingham
9 – Co-op Live, Manchester
10 – Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham
12 – P&J Live, Aberdeen
13 – OVO Hydro, Glasgow
15 – First Direct Arena, Leeds
The tour forms part of a wider world run spanning the UK, Ireland, Europe, Asia and Australia through to spring 2027.
A New Chapter for the Band
The Man In The Arena Tour arrives during a significant period for The Script, following the announcement of their new album The User’s Guide to Being Human, due for release on 14 August 2026.
The run also continues the band’s live evolution following the loss of founding guitarist Mark Sheehan in 2023, with Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power carrying the project forward into a new era.
Since emerging in the late 2000s, The Script have become one of the UK and Ireland’s most successful arena acts, with songs like “Breakeven,” “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” “For the First Time” and “Hall of Fame” helping define their rise.
Support on the Tour
James Morrison has been confirmed as the support act across the UK dates, bringing another established singer-songwriter onto the arena run.
The pairing reunites two artists who both became major fixtures of UK radio and arena touring during the late 2000s and early 2010s.
What to Expect from the Shows
The Script’s live shows are known for balancing emotional ballads with arena-sized singalongs, often built around strong audience interaction and crowd participation.
Fans can expect a setlist spanning the band’s biggest hits alongside newer material from The User’s Guide to Being Human, including the newly released single “Man In The Arena.”
Even as the band moves into a new chapter, their live sets continue to lean heavily on the songs that established them as one of the biggest pop-rock acts of their era.
Tickets and Presales
Tickets for the UK arena tour will be released in phases, with presales taking place ahead of the general sale.
Fans who pre-order The User’s Guide to Being Human from the official store before 11:59pm BST on Tuesday 26 May will gain access to an exclusive presale beginning Wednesday 27 May at 9:30am BST.
General sale will then begin on Friday 29 May at 9:30am local time.
With arena dates scheduled across major UK cities — and the band continuing to draw large live audiences — demand is expected to be high throughout the run.
The Bottom Line
The Script’s Man In The Arena Tour marks another major arena chapter for one of the UK and Ireland’s most established live bands, arriving alongside a new album era and a return to large-scale touring.
For fans, it’s set to be a celebration of both the band’s catalogue and the next stage of their story.
