Shakira has announced a 12th date for her huge 2026 Madrid residency, with an additional show now confirmed for Friday 9 October 2026 at the specially built Shakira Stadium.
The newly added date arrives following overwhelming demand for the residency, which has rapidly expanded since first being announced with just three shows.

The residency will take place across multiple nights in October 2026 at Shakira Stadium in Madrid, with the newly announced 9 October date becoming the twelfth show added to the run.
Originally launched as a limited series of performances, the residency quickly grew after more than half a million tickets were sold within hours of the initial onsale, making it one of the biggest live music events in Europe this year.
A Major Return to Spain
The residency marks Shakira’s return to Spain for the first time in eight years, following her El Dorado World Tour.
It also represents a significant new step in live music touring, introducing the large-scale international residency format to Spain for the first time.
Produced by Live Nation Spain, the shows will take place at the purpose-built Shakira Stadium — a temporary 50,000-capacity venue integrated within Iberdrola Music and designed by renowned architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG).
The venue is set to feature full-visibility staging, upgraded acoustics and premium fan experiences across the residency run.
More Than a Concert Series
The Madrid residency is being positioned as a wider cultural event rather than a traditional concert run.
Alongside the shows themselves, the city will host exhibitions, talks, workshops, film screenings, gastronomy events and other cultural experiences under the banner Es Latina.
The concept aims to celebrate Latin culture, music and community on an international scale, transforming the residency into a multi-day destination experience within Madrid.
A Record-Breaking Era
The announcement follows a huge run of milestones for Shakira globally.
Recent performances have included a 2.5 million-attendee show at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, a free concert at Mexico City’s Zócalo attended by 400,000 fans, and a record-setting 13-date run at Estadio GNP Seguros.
Meanwhile, her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour has continued to break records worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing tour ever by a Spanish-language artist.
The momentum has also coincided with a recent nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, further cementing her status as one of the world’s biggest touring artists.
Tickets and Presales
Tickets for the newly added Madrid date will go on sale on Wednesday 13 May at 10am via Live Nation Spain, Ticketmaster and El Corte Inglés.
An SMUSIC presale will begin on Monday 11 May at 10am, followed by a Live Nation presale for registered users starting Tuesday 12 May at 10am.
With eleven dates already announced and demand continuing to surge, the newly added show is expected to sell quickly.
