Morrissey has announced a new UK arena tour for winter 2026, marking his most extensive run of British headline shows in recent years.

The former Smiths frontman will return to arenas across the country this December in support of his latest album Make-Up Is A Lie, following a sold-out headline performance at London’s O2 earlier this year.

UK Tour Dates

The newly announced UK tour includes:

December 2026

6 – Brighton Centre, Brighton
9 – Utilita Arena, Cardiff
12 – M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool
16 – OVO Hydro, Glasgow
19 – First Direct Arena, Leeds

The five-date run will take Morrissey back to major UK venues, closing with a headline show in Leeds just before Christmas.

A New Era Following ‘Make-Up Is A Lie’

The tour arrives during a significant new chapter for Morrissey, following the release of Make-Up Is A Lie — his first studio album in six years.

Across both his solo career and his time with The Smiths, Morrissey remains one of the most influential and divisive figures in British music, with a catalogue that continues to resonate across generations.

The announcement also follows an active period of touring throughout Europe and North America, as well as continued demand for his UK headline appearances.

What to Expect from the Shows

Morrissey’s live sets continue to pull from across his full catalogue, blending solo material with tracks originally recorded with The Smiths.

Songs like “Everyday Is Like Sunday,” “Suedehead” and “First of the Gang to Die” regularly feature alongside Smiths-era staples including “How Soon Is Now?” and “I Know It’s Over.”

With Make-Up Is A Lie now part of the setlist, the winter tour is expected to mix newer material with the songs that have defined his live shows for decades.

Tickets and Presales

Tickets for the UK arena tour will be released in phases, with presales scheduled ahead of the general sale.

Venue presales are expected to begin on Thursday 21 May at 10am local time, alongside a Spotify presale.

General sale will then begin on Friday 22 May at 10am local time, with tickets available through official ticketing partners and venue websites.

With relatively few UK dates announced and a history of strong ticket demand, several shows are expected to sell quickly.

The Bottom Line

Morrissey’s winter 2026 arena tour brings one of Britain’s most iconic and enduring artists back to major UK venues with a catalogue spanning more than four decades.

For fans, it’s another opportunity to see a performer whose influence on British alternative music continues to loom large — now returning with new material and a full arena run.

Was a bit dubious buying F1 tickets…

Bought a 4 day grandstand seat to the australian grand prix and was a bit offput by the fact that I wouldn't recieve my tickets til the week of, but lo and behold, 3 days before the event the tickets were transferred to me without issue. Happy with the process overall.
