Liverpool star agrees Anfield exit to London rivals

Liverpool have agreed a deal with Queens Park Rangers for Joe Cole to move to Loftus Road on a season long loan.

The England international has not had the best of times on Merseyside, getting sent off on his debut and struggling to break into the first XI thereafter.

Now it appears that Liverpool will attempt to help Cole resurrect his career elsewhere, as he has fallen well down the pecking order at Anfield.

Even Alberto Aquilani, returning from his own temporary spell away at Juventus, has overtaken Cole.

Reports in the Liverpool Echo and Times today indicate that Cole has put his house on Merseyside up for sale, and he will head back down to London to agree terms in the coming days.
