Kings of Leon are to head back to London next summer, the Nashville rockers have just announced a huge show at The O2 on Friday 2 July 2027, their first London gig since their Hyde Park show in 2024. It’s also scheduled to be the band’s only arena show on the O My Beloved 2027 tour, an important one for those who don’t want to travel to catch the band. But the show is special for a couple of reasons, as by the time they get to London, there’ll be a brand new Kings of Leon album for the band to play with.
The new album
O My Beloved is the band’s 10th album and is set for release next month. It’s a follow up to 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun, which brought fans new tracks like ‘Mustang’ and ‘Nothing To Do.’ Kings of Leon gave fans a first glimpse of the album with ‘Cold Blue Dawn,’ its accompanying music video using imagery from a NASA Landsat.
Back in London
Kings of Leon’s last London show was their fifth headline appearance at Hyde Park in 2024. They’ve kept their relationship with UK audiences going since then, with shows in Belfast, Glasgow and Manchester during summer 2026. The band have been touring for more than two decades now, so there’s also plenty of older material to fit around the new album.
Expect the classics
The release of a new record doesn’t necessarily mean fans will be going home without the big songs. ‘Use Somebody’ and ‘Sex on Fire’ will still be on the setlist alongside whatever makes the cut from the new album. The most interesting part will be seeing how the new album will fit into a set packed with more than 20 years of material.
Tickets for the London gig will be available through presales which begin from 9:30am on Wednesday 7 October, general sale then begins at 9:30am on Friday 9 October. Two further outdoor shows in northern England are anticipated to be announced later this month.
