You know when a band announces their biggest tour to date, playing some of the largest venues in the country, and everyone’s reaction is basically “well, it was only a matter of time wasn’t it”? That’s what has happened this week with indie-heroes, Stockport’s finest, Blossoms, as they announced their largest UK arena tour yet, taking in some of the country’s most iconic venues with support from newcomers The Royston Club, and marking another huge step for a band that has spent the last decade quietly becoming one of Britain’s most loved live acts.

Even though it’s a relatively short run, it’s a big one, you can find Alexandra Palace on the list, one of London’s most iconic venues, and a hometown headline show at Manchester’s Co-Op Live, the band’s largest crowd ever, and it already feels like it’s going to be really special.
It didn’t just happen overnight
The funny thing with a band like Blossoms is that their rise has never felt explosive; there hasn’t been one moment where they suddenly blew up. Instead, they’ve just kept turning it up a notch, they’ve built a status for being a band that is always looking forward, thinking about the next tour, the next album and how to quietly embed themselves into people’s lives and radio stations. Tickets and presales
Tickets for the tour will be released in phases, with presales taking place ahead of the general sale. Fans signed up through official channels will have the first opportunity to secure tickets on Wednesday, June 24th, before remaining seats are made available during the general sale on Friday, June 26th. Given the size of the venues, there will be plenty of tickets available, but if the band’s recent tours are anything to go by, they probably won’t stick around for too long.
