Was a bit dubious buying F1 tickets…
Bought a 4 day grandstand seat to the australian grand prix and was a bit offput by the fact that I wouldn't recieve my tickets til the week of, but lo and behold, 3 days before the event the tickets were transferred to me without issue. Happy with the process overall.

The 2026 season is themed around American music, marking 250 years since the US Declaration of Independence, and is among the most exciting in recent years. The BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, led by Dalia Stasevska, opens the season on the First Night with Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, Gershwin’s An American in Paris, and a world premiere from Josephine Stephenson, commissioned by the BBC.
The LA Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel performs two Proms, while the Met Orchestra, New York, makes its Proms debut conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The Last Night on 12 September features Yuja Wang performing Barber’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Piano Concerto in its Proms debut, with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus under Chief Conductor Sakari Oramo.
In total, the 2026 season features 86 concerts, 72 at the Royal Albert Hall and 14 at venues elsewhere around the UK, with all Proms broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and available to stream on BBC Sounds.
The BBC Proms is one of the most affordable live music events in London. The season runs from £8 standing tickets right through to full gala pricing, making it accessible to almost everyone. Seated tickets for most Royal Albert Hall concerts are priced between approximately £28 and £90.
Standing tickets — known as “Promming” — are available for the Arena (floor level, close to the performers) and the Gallery (upper level, with sweeping views of the hall). Children aged 7–18 can attend with half-price tickets for every show except the Last Night of the Proms. Last Night tickets are among the most in-demand of the entire season and typically sell out quickly through primary channels, making the resale market the most reliable route to securing a place.
Pro tip: Promming tickets — available on the door on the day of each concert — offer one of the best-value live music experiences in the UK at just £8. However, for the Last Night and high-profile headliners, booking in advance through Fanatix is strongly recommended.
Selected BBC Proms concerts — including the ever-popular Last Night of the Proms and other high-demand evenings — are available through the Fanatix resale marketplace. Every listing is verified, meaning your tickets are guaranteed to be valid and delivered before the event.
Whether you’re after a sought-after seat for a sold-out night or looking to compare options across the season, Fanatix offers a safe and reliable way to secure your place at one of Britain’s great cultural institutions. Every order is backed by our 100% money-back guarantee.
The BBC Proms — formally the Henry Wood Promenade Concerts presented by the BBC — is the world’s largest classical music festival. Born in 1895 from conductor Sir Henry Wood’s mission to bring great music to everyone, the festival has been held every summer since at the Royal Albert Hall, gathering leading orchestras, bold new commissions, star soloists, choral epics, film scores, and late-night adventures. Each season draws around 300,000 concertgoers in person and many millions more through broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, BBC Two and BBC Sounds.
What makes the Proms truly distinctive is its democratic spirit. The tradition of Promming — standing in the Arena or Gallery for a fraction of the cost of a seat — creates an atmosphere unlike any other concert hall in the world: informal, electric, and deeply communal. Regulars queue from early morning, building friendships and rituals that span decades. First-timers are warmly welcomed and quickly converted.
The season encompasses far more than the traditional orchestral programme. Jazz, film music, world premieres, family concerts, and late-night events all find their place alongside the symphonies and concertos. And of course, the Last Night of the Proms — with its flag-waving, singalongs, and patriotic tradition — remains one of the most joyful and beloved events in the British cultural calendar.
