It’s happening, JAY-Z is coming back to the UK, and he’s bringing two of the most important albums of hip-hop history along with him. The rap icon has announced a headline show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this September, his first UK gig in eight years. A lot more special than a standard return, the concert will celebrate two landmark milestones in his career, the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint.

The Date

Friday, 4th September 2026, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, it looks to be the only scheduled JAY-Z performance in the UK for quite some time, making this concert one of the biggest live music moments of the year.

A Celebration of Two Classic Albums

Eight years is a long time to have to wait for a JAY-Z show, but this one promises to make it worthwhile. Unlike many artists, Jay isn’t the type of person to be constantly on the road, making every live performance a genuine occasion, and this one gives fans an extra reason to celebrate.

When it was released in 1996, Reasonable Doubt introduced JAY-Z as one of the greatest hip-hop storytellers in the world, laying the foundations for a career that would then change the genre forever. Five years after that release came The Blueprint, an album many still consider one of the greatest rap records of all time. Featuring tracks like “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)”, “Girls, Girls, Girls”, “Song Cry” and “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)”, it helped define the sound of hip-hop in the early 2000s and cemented JAY-Z’s place at the very top of the genre.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium performance is set to celebrate both of these legendary albums in one night, a chance to revisit the records that shaped modern hip-hop.

What Could the Setlist Look Like?

JAY-Z fans know that it will never be easy to predict a setlist, with one of the deepest catalogues in rap, there’ll never be a shortage of material to choose from. Fans will undoubtedly be waiting patiently to hear classics from both Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint, alongside career defining hits like “99 Problems” and “Public Service Announcement.” With the show being centred around the two milestone albums, there’s also every chance that a few rarely performed tracks could make a special appearance.

Tickets and Presales

Tickets will be released in phases, with several presales taking place before the general sale. Mastercard and venue presales are expected to begin first, before tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 10 July.

For fans who grew up alongside Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint, this announcement has all of the ingredients to become one of the most memorable gigs of all time. It’s easy to forget how rarely JAY-Z performs these days, but it looks like he just might be back.

Was a bit dubious buying F1 tickets…

Bought a 4 day grandstand seat to the australian grand prix and was a bit offput by the fact that I wouldn't recieve my tickets til the week of, but lo and behold, 3 days before the event the tickets were transferred to me without issue. Happy with the process overall.
