Noel missed entire season last year due to a torn ACL.
Philadelphia 76ers star Nerlens Noel made his NBA career debut in the Summer League clash with the Orlando Magic and impressed with 19 points.
The 20-year-old missed the entire season last year due to a torn ACL, but in his first game back he did not disappoint after finishing with a 19-point performance which included 6-for-11 shooting from the field and 7-7 shooting from the free throw line.
While his general display will have impressed Sixers fans, most notably his efficiency from the free throw line was in stark contrast to the form he showed during his time at Kentucky where he shot 52 percent.
Philadelphia head coach Brett Brown could be seen working with Noel from the stripe before every game last season and it appears as though some of the hard work that he put in last year is showing signs of paying off.
Meanwhile, Noel also grabbed two rebounds, had three assists and four steals in the loss, although there was some bad news for the 76ers with point guard Pierre Jackson suffering an Achilles injury.
