New Zealand Test forward Adam Blair has signed a three-year deal with the Brisbane Broncos after being released from the final year of his contract by the Wests Tigers.
Blair starred in the Kiwis’ Four Nations final triumph over Australia on Saturday and will be an important addition to the Broncos’ forward pack in 2015.
The Broncos have cleared out a number of front rowers upon Wayne Bennett’s arrival, with with Ben Hannant, David Hala and Martin Kennedy all joining rival NRL clubs.
“Adam is a highly experienced player,” said Broncos chief executive Paul White.
“He has enormous experience at both NRL and representative level, and will bring toughness and leadership to the Broncos’ squad.”
Blair has played 192 NRL games since making his debut for the Melbourne Storm in 2006.
