Frank-Paul Nuuausala will join the Canberra Raiders on a three-year deal after being granted an early release from the Sydney Roosters.
Nuuausala had a year remaining on his Roosters contract.
“It can never be underestimated the important contribution Frank has made to the Roosters in his time here,” Roosters coach Trent Robinson said in a statement.
“The type of player who prefers to let his actions do the talking on the footy field, it’s been an honour to watch Frank develop as a leader among our forwards over the past few years.”
Nuuausala made his first grade debut with the Roosters in 2007 and was part of the club’s 2013 premiership-winning squad.
