The West Coast Eagles will meet with delisted free agent Taylor Hunt this week as they make a decision whether to sign to axed Geelong midfielder, according to reports.
The West Australian reports that Eagles officials will interview Hunt after he returns from a holiday in Bali tonight.
Geelong’s decision to dump Hunt came as somewhat as a surprise after the 23-year-old was limited to just seven games after struggling with osteitis pubis.
The Eagles are looking to build its midfield stocks and it is understood coach Adam Simpson is keen on the Victorian.
The delisted free agency period begins on Saturday and ends on November 12.
Hunt was selected at pick no.49 in the 2008 national draft and went on to play 69 games for the Cats.
