The seamer doesn’t think the starting XI can keep their fitness all summer so he will get his chance.
England bowler Tim Bresnan doesn’t think he will have to wait too long to get back into the Test team as it is unlikely the starting XI will all be able to maintain their fitness for 12 months.
Bresnan himself missed the last series in New Zealand through an elbow injury, but since undergoing surgery the Yorkshireman has been included in the squad for the upcoming Tests with the Black Caps.
The first five-day match between England and New Zealand starts at Lord’s on Thursday.
