England skipper Alastair Cook wants his side to win their first every ICC 50-over tournament when they host the Champions Trophy this summer.
Three Lions captain Alastair Cook thinks England should be prioritising victory in the Champions Trophy as the side are yet to win a 50-over international competition.
Cook wants his team to add the Champions Trophy to their Twenty20 World Cup triumph back in 2010.
However, the England skipper has been realistic about the way his side have performed recently and admits they were not good enough to win the Test series against New Zealand last month.
The English skipper also believes that Australia’s 4-0 whitewash defeat in India will have no influence on how Michael Clarke’s team perform in the Ashes this summer.
