D-Will sparks Nets past the Celtics for road season sweep.
Point guard Deron Williams had a game-high 29 points and 12 assists as the Brooklyn Nets completed the road season sweep of the Boston Celtics with a 101-93 win.
Brook Lopez added 21 points, while Joe Johnson posted up 20 which allowed the Nets to maintain a double digit lead over their opponents for most of the second half.
The win saw Brooklyn take the season series against Boston 3-1 to stay in fourth place in the Eastern Conference,and despite Paul Pierce’s 23 points, the Celtics remain in seventh spot.
The Nets visit the Indiana Pacers on Friday night, while the Celtics are on the road to Miami to face the Heat at the AA Arena.
