England’s Cricket World Cup dreams were shattered earlier today as a 15-run loss to Bangladesh sent them crashing out of the tournament without reaching the quarter-finals.
The defeat, which followed losses to Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka – plus a victory over minnows Scotland – was exactly what England deserved.
