Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez appears to be on his way out the door as he has just one year remaining on his contract.
Hernandez, who is popularly known as “Chicharito,” is expected to be signed by Tottenham for £7.5m in the upcoming transfer window.
The 26-year-old forward is currently on a loan deal with Real Madrid, but they have not indicated any plans to keep him around long-term.
Despite that, he has scored eight goals in 31 appearances for the La Liga club. Tottenham is the favorite right now, but Hernandez is also being pursued by West Ham, Southampton and Everton.
Tottenham has a chance to finish in fifth place since they are only one point behind Liverpool, and they are scheduled to play Everton in their season finale.
Liverpool is set to face Stoke City. It remains to be seen how Tottenham can perform in their last match of the season, and how the outcome of their match will affect Hernandez’s decision.
