The Denver Broncos were able to escape with a 39-36 victory over the Miami Dolphins after quarterback Peyton Manning rallied his team to 22 unanswered points.
In addition to the Broncos defense looking sloppy, kicker Brandon McManus missed a field goal. Luckily, Manning’s fourth-quarter explosion made that irrelevant.
However, McManus’ days in Denver may be numbered as the Broncos are reportedly planning on working out different kickers. Their decision to release Matt Prater may come back to haunt them.
