Broncos QB Peyton Manning led the Broncos to 22 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to get a comeback win over the Dolphins.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Miami Dolphins 39-36 in Week 12 of the NFL season thanks to three unanswered TDs in the fourth quarter.
The Dolphins took the early lead with three TDs in the first half that gave them a 21-10 lead. Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill had 3 passing TDs (two to Jarvis Landry and one to Mike Wallace) and 1 rushing TD on the day. The Broncos got off to a very slow start with only a FG in the first quarter, and have up 17 passes for 1st downs on the day. With 0:12 remaining in the first half, however, Peyton Manning cut the lead with a TD pass to Demaryius Thomas to make the game 21-17 Dolphins going into halftime.
In the second half the Dolphins extended their lead on a TD pass to WR Jarvis Landry to make the game 28-17 heading into the 4th quarter. But in the fourth, Peyton Manning and RB C.J. Anderson sprung to life with 22 unanswered points – 2 more TD passes from Manning and a rushing TD from Anderson, making the game 39-28. Anderson finished the day with a career high 168 rushing yards on 27 carries. The Dolphins tried to rally late and scored a TD with 1:34 remaining to cut their deficit to just three, but the Broncos recovered the kickoff and ran out the clock.
With the win the Broncos move to 8-3 on the season, good for second place in the AFC standings. The Broncos next game will be against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.
With the loss, the Dolphins move to 6-5 on the season and next play against New York on Monday Night Football.
