Harry Redknapp does not believe that Mohamed Salah will be available.
Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that he is interested in bringing winger Mohamed Salah on loan to the club from local rivals Chelsea, report Goal, but he does not believe that the Blues are looking to allow the Egyptian international to leave Stamford Bridge.
Salah has struggled for opportunities since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Swiss champions FC Basel in January, leading to suggestions that he would push for a loan move away from the club in a bid to taste more regular action.
Rangers manager Redknapp has admitted that he will be forced to deal in the loan market in January after a profligate summer at Loftus Road – but he does not expect Salah to be part of his plans:
“I don’t think Chelsea would loan him, I’ve never asked about him, I wouldn’t think we’d get him on loan.”
“It’s a difficult one, spending big money in January.”
“We bought players in in the summer, [now] we’re looking for loans. It’s difficult. You’re taking a gamble.”
