What signing Cavani, Ginter and Kroos will do for the Red Devils.
In what is looking to end as a disappointing season for Manchester United, could be followed by an exciting summer of transfers for the current Premier League champions.
German daily Bild reports that the Red Devils are looking to make big money moves for Paris Saint-German striker Edinson Cavani, Toni Kroos of Bayern Munich and Freiburg youngster Matthias Ginter.
The trio are to be bought in to freshen up David Moyes’ squad as United look to move out of the Sir Alex Ferguson era and into a new regime under the 50-year-old.

Many of the current first team players are expected to leave Old Trafford in the summer, with captain Nemanja Vidic having already confirmed his departure and the Serb is likely to be followed by the likes of Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Luis Nani.
Meanwhile Robin van Persie is unsettled at the club and the Daily Express has reported that the Dutchman wants a shock return to former side Arsenal – freeing up a space for the prolific Cavani.
The Uruguay international became PSG’s club record signing in the summer after joining from Napoli for £54m, but is frustrated at being played out of position at the Parc des Princes due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Cavani is a proven top-flight striker who already has 21 goals in 31 appearances for the French champions this term and has the physicality in attack to suit English football.
Meanwhile, Bayern’s Kroos has long been linked with Moyes’ men and with the Germany international about to enter the last year of his current contract at the Allianz Arena, the Bundesliga champions could be convinced to sell.
They want the 24-year-old to stay after the attacking midfielder has impressed since progressing from the youth setup in 2007 and having played 190 matches in all competitions since, but may be forced to cash-in as the German is not rushing to sign a new deal.
Kroos would provide the creativity and attacking flair in midfield that United are so desperately lacking currently and signing the star would really show Moyes and chief executive Ed Woodward’s authority.
Finally Ginter, who is one of the most promising young talents in German football currently and has openly admitted to being excited at the prospect of a move to the Theatre of Dreams.
“If it is true, I am of course honoured and excited,” the 20-year-old was quoted by the Daily Star.
Ginter is a central defender who can also operate in midfield and with 70 first team matches for Freiburg already under his belt, could be the ideal acquisition to replace the aging Vidic and Ferdinand.
