New Chelsea signing Papy Djilobodji has been left out of the club’s initial Champions League squad.
The Senegal defender joined the Blues in a surprise £4m deadline-day switch from Ligue 1 side Nantes.
But Jose Mourinho did not have any room for the 26-year-old in his 25-man squad for the group stage.
Fellow summer arrivals Radamel Falcao, Asmir Begovic, Baba Rahman and Pedro, who won the competition three times during his time at Barcelona, are all included.
Chelsea were top seeds for the group-stage draw and will play FC Porto, Dynamo Kiev and Maccabi Tel Aviv in Group C – one of the less competitive pools on paper.
