Chelsea kept their sixth clean sheet of the season on Tuesday night as they won 4-0 at Maccabi Tel Aviv.
No.2 goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, who is deputising for injured stopper Thibaut Courtois, has been the man who has kept all of those six shutouts.
Begovic was made to work for his clean sheet against Maccabi. He had to make two saves, both when the score was 1-0.
The save in the video above – to deny Eran Zehavi – was Begovic’s finest contribution.
However, he was also forced into an impressive stop after Eden Hazard had lazily let Maccabi right-back Eli Dasa run in behind him.
Courtois has been sidelined since August, but he recently returned to training, according to The Independent.
