Greater Western Sydney midfielder Jono O’Rourke has asked the Giants for a trade back home to a Victorian club, with a number of sides interested in the youngster.
The no.2 pick in the 2012 National Draft, O’Rourke has struggled to get game time with the Giants following a number of injuries.
The 20-year-old’s manager, Tom Petroro, told AFL Trade Radio that Hawthorn and St Kilda are interested in his client’s services, while Fairfax Media are reporting that North Melbourne looms as a possible destination.
“He doesn’t have a preferred destination,” Petroro said on Tuesday.
“He’s had some interest from Hawthorn and St Kilda and there’s a couple of others that have inquired about him as well. We’re in no rush.
“I’m not putting a timeline on it. When the time’s right and the stars align, then we’ll make a decision.”
