Torres has failed to hit the ground running in Serie A after making a two-year loan move from Chelsea to Pippo Inaghi’s side in the summer, but despite the former Liverpool man’s lack of form, it would appear that Milan are going to persevere with him.
Milan are already 12 points off Juventus at the top of the Serie A table, but an impressive 2-0 win over Rafa Benitez’s Napoli this weekend has brought them closer to Sampdoria and Genoa in the race for Champions League qualification.
