The Gunners have won five out of their last six matches.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he will give his players a break over the coming days ahead of the hectic festive schedule, report the Express, although the Gunners will be due in to training on Christmas Day to prepare for their Boxing Day fixture.

Despite the brouhaha that followed the Gunners’ frustrating 3-2 Premier League defeat to Stoke City on a humbling afternoon in the Potteries last weekend, the club are actually on a decent run of form and have won five of their last six matches.
This includes thumping victories over Galtasaray and Newcastle United in the last seven days – and Wenger believes that it is important that his players are given the chance to recharge their batteries:
“We will not have Christmas so I’ve given the players some days off.”
“It’s important to have a break. When you count the number of games with the Champions League, the players will not be at home over Christmas so to have two or three days at home is important. Most of them will stay in England because their families are here.”
