The 21-year-old has signed on with the Lions until the end of the 2016 AFL season.
Brisbane Lions midfielder Ryan Lester to a new deal with the club.
The 21-year-old has committed to a new two-year contract with the Lions, which will see him remain at the club until at least the end of the 2016 AFL season.
Lester made his AFL debut in Round 1 of the 2011 season and notched up his 50th appearance in the Lions’ demolition of the Suns in the Q-Clash on Saturday.
Initially recruited from the Oakleigh Chargers, Lester was selected by the Lions at pick 28 of the 2010 AFL Draft.
Lester joined team-mates Rohan Bewick and Nicholas Robertson in re-signing with the club this month.
Lions football operations manager Dean Warren told the club’s website it was “great” to see the midfielder commit to the club until 2016.
“Ryan is a key part of a fantastic, talented young group that we are building at the Lions,”he said.
“He has really developed as a footballer throughout the last 12 months and it is great to see him commit to the club until the end of the 2016 season.
“To have Ryan, Nick and Rohan agree to new terms this week is fantastic news for our club.
“These players are the future of our club and players that our fans will hopefully be able to enjoy success with in years to come.”
