Syracuse legend has his #15 jersey retired as team remember his services to the college.
As a New York Knick, Carmelo Anthony is already making a case to become a great of the modern era.
For Syracuse University, he has already reached that milestone. Anthony was part of the Orangemen’s 2003 national championship team, and was very much the lynchpin for their success.
Since then, Anthony has gone on to have a stellar career in the NFL, playing for both the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks, as well as representing the USA at the London Olympics.
There is a bright future for ‘Melo’, but even if it ended now, he can be proud of what he has achieved in the sport already.
