Marshall shares video on Instagram which showcases his blistering speed.
Chicago Bears receiver Brandon Marshall took up a challenge which Chad Johnson has previously successfully completed by running 24 MPH on a treadmill.
The 30-year-old is clearly in great shape so early in the off-season as he proves how hard he is working in training with this effort on a slight incline.
Aside from making us all question the kind of work we do on a treadmill, Marshall is ultimately gearing up to be part of a dangerous offensive unit for the Bears next season which will hope to lead them back to the playoffs.
Along with the likes of Alshon Jeffery and quarterback Jay Cutler, the Bears are optimistic about their chances moving forward, but ultimately coach Marc Trestman will need to see an overall improvement on the defensive end in order to help them improve on last season’s showing.
Nevertheless, given the egos in the NFL, it is probably only a matter of time before another speedster decides to show off his pace and rival Marshall’s effort…
