Former Australia pace bowler Brett Lee bowls at Piers.
Attention-seeking celebrity Arsenal fan and CNN host Piers Morgan was left battered and bruised after facing an over from former Australian pace bowler Brett Lee in the nets at the MCG yesterday.
Check out the 10 worst Arsenal flops of the Premier League era.
The face-off began on twitter when British-born Morgan launched a trademark rant about the England team’s “pathetic” form as wickets continued to tumble during the second Ashes test in Adelaide.
Alastair Cook’s a nice guy but as a captain, he couldn’t inspire me to open a crisp packet. Let him go back to making big runs again. #Ashes

one of many Piers’ rants read…
Morgan claimed he could do better than his compatriots and said he would love to face Australian speed-man Mitchell Johnson, imploring England’s batsmen to “grow a pair”.
When Lee challenged Morgan to face some of his “thunderbolts” in the MCG nets, Morgan didn’t back down. “Game on,” he tweeted.
The results were excellent…
For the record, I didn’t actually see a single one of @BrettLee_58 ‘s deliveries. But I felt 4 of them crashing into my flesh.
