Arsene Wenger suggests he could commit to future in England with Arsenal at the top of the Barclays Premier League.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given his biggest hint yet that he will sign a new contract with the north London side.
The Gunners boss spoke at an event called Four Four Jew held at the Jewish Museum, stating that he could envisage spending the rest of his life in England.
There is rather less pressure on both Wenger and Arsenal after a highly impressive start to the season in the Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Capital One Cup, and it is interesting that the veteran Frenchman feels comfortable talking about his position publicly.
“I can see the rest of my life in England if I continue to work here and I feel very comfortable in this country because we share a common passion for football,” said Wenger.
“I am very thankful for this country for having accepting me and for giving me a chance.”
