Gunners planning a revamp after the same old problems persist.
Arsenal have not started the new Premier League season in the best form, with yesterday’s 2-0 defeat to rivals Chelsea leaving the Gunners nine points adrift of Jose Mourinho’s side with less than two months of the season gone.
Manager Arsene Wenger will not be happy with his side’s meek surrender at Stamford Bridge and could feel that Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck haven’t been enough to give his side the real attacking impetus that they need.
If various press reports are to be believed, he could be planning a radical January shake-up:
Out) Mesut Ozil
Despite some sparkling displays, record buy Mesut Ozil is continuing to underwhelm as much as he controls games and, if reported interest from Bayern Munich materialises into a big bid, Wenger could well be tempted to decided that the Gunners are better off without Ozil’s deficiencies, despite his obvious creativity.
