Warriors now slip to three consecutive defeats.
Playing their fourth road game in five nights, the Golden State Warriors fell to their third straight loss with a 116-91 defeat to the Dallas Mavericks.
Check in to Atlanta Hawks at Dallas Mavericks
The Warriors have been impressive so far this season, comfortably sitting in the play-off positions in the Western Conference.
However, coach Mark Jackson will hope to turn their form around sooner rather than later, as they fell to 30-21 for the season.
For the Mavericks, it was Shawn Marion who led the way with a season-high 26 points and 11 rebounds, while O.J. Mayo put up 19 points and nine assists.
It was also a good night for veteran Dirk Nowitzki who finished with 15, with Darren Collison joining the double figures group with 18 points of his own.
The Warriors struggled from the off, falling behind early as Dallas stormed to a 30-16 lead in the first quarter, before taking the second 32-20.
Warriors guard Stephen Curry scored 18 points, but was 8-for-23 shooting while Klay Thompson also struggled on his way to 11 points for the night.
The Mavericks will now hope to build on this win going forward, as they host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday while the Warriors are back at home when they entertain the high-scoring Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.
